My journey:
The storyteller

2006
I've always been passionate about living experiences. From an early age, in drama school, I learned to develop my communication skills. My professional identity is based on the use of narrative techniques. On the stage, I could experience the power of storytelling.
2012
At the age of 23, I moved to Dubai to be a flight attendant at Emirates Airline - a world reference in in-flight experience. I've been able to visit 66 countries and work with over 150 nationalities. I've also had the privilege of being invited to be Emirates’ brand ambassador at conferences and events around the world.
I’ve experienced from the luxury of the Maldives to the lack of drinking water in Bangladesh. I've spent Christmas Eve, escorted by the police, in Nigeria, and also have been able to help victims of Nepal's most destructive earthquake.
I’ve seen the Syria war up close. I’ve landed at Damascus airport two weeks before it got bombed. What have I learned from all these experiences? To practice empathy.

In the UAE, I've also dedicated my time to academic life. I've graduated with distinction in business management (Emirates Aviation University). During my studies, I began to realize that I was spending half of my time on the "side" of the business' needs and the other half on the "side" of the customer's needs. It was the beginning of my product vision.

2016
I’ve applied the acquired knowledge to develop my entrepreneurial side. I created my swimwear brand called Romeu, with no staff and no investors. This adventure allowed me to work from the conception, branding, and design of the product to the entire administration of the company. I was responsible for communication and marketing strategies, logistics, accounting, and building the eCommerce.
At the end of the fifth year of my Arab life, I've started planning a career change. I've decided to return to Brazil and chase an opportunity in the world of digital products and services. In the meantime I've worked at Avianca, deepening, in parallel, my studies in user experience design.
2019
Getting a new job in the Mexican fintech Visor has shown me the third component to my product vision: technology. My mission was to help small and medium-sized enterprises in their search for better credit conditions.
I was responsible for managing and inspiring a team of talented UX/UI designers in Brazil and Mexico. I stood out for my quick adaptability to a multi-cultural environment. Implemented tools and best practices, designed process improvement flows, and became a reference to solve communication challenges present in multidisciplinary teams.
The world of startups and the colleagues in this adventure have taught me a lot. My deliverables and challenges included the contribution to the increase in conversion rate of companies joining the platform, designing a frictionless registration process. Conducted empathic researches of multiple users, internal and external, qualitatively, translating their needs into continuous improvement and innovation.
Interpreted and aligned research results with project objectives. Applied design principles and interaction proposals. Designed prototypes, performed user tests, having a positive impact on metrics. Among the successful projects, an intelligent dashboard for inquiries, monitoring, alerts, and opportunities from the corporate health profiles.

2021
I am happy to say that I had the chance to assemble a diverse, powerful, multi-cultural, and unprejudiced team. I've aligned my purpose to change the world with each hire made. What moves me is connecting people based on the development of soft skills. Visor has been recently acquired by the renowned Mexican Fintech Credijuto. I am glad to have contributed to this great achievement. I am currently taking a specialization course (lato sensu) in User Experience at Instituto Belas Artes.
